Find gigantic buffets, made-to-order specialties, bodacious burgers, ethnic food, and gourmet masterpieces. You may want to make a special trip up just to partake, but save room for delicious desserts and gambling.

Black Hawk Dining

BLACK HAWK STATION treats guests to free snacks like party mix and peanuts.

BULLWHACKERS has everything you're craving at Bullwhackers Bar & Grill on the upper level of the casino. Serving breakfast lunch and dinner, you can't go wrong with this reasonably-priced restaurant with great ambience. Early gamblers, who arrive by bus, can make out with discount breakfasts. On Mondays enjoy all-you-can-eat spaghetti for just $2.99. The same price goes for the Mexican Fiesta feast on Thursdays. There's the traditional menu with American cuisine any day of the week with great bargains on full meals.

CANYON CASINO'S Canyon Grille serves up some great burgers and more with a massive salad bar. Canyon Club players can find some remarkable specials nearly every month, from specialty sandwiches to sizzling steaks. Service is exceptional and prices are reasonable. The Canyon Grille is located upstairs via elevator or escalator. Step up to some satisfying meals day or night.

COLORADO CENTRAL STATION CASINO has two restaurants to choose from , the Whistle Stop and the Firebox Grille, for superb fine dining. The Whistle Stop has daily lunch and dinner specials and reasonable prices. Stop by the Whistle Stop for a quick, satisfying meal. There's plenty of variety and it will get you back to the gaming fast. Or take a break at the Fire Box Grille and sit down to some marvelous meals. For lunch experience burgers, chicken, a Southwestern plate or maybe a beef stew bread bowl. For dinner choose from choice steaks, lobsters, prime rib or maybe halibut. All dinners are complete with sourdough bread and choice of soup or salad. The Fire Box has a spectacular wine list.

EUREKA CASINO has the best Chinese food in all Gilpin County. Choose from daily specials, complete dinners or by the item. The fried rice is perfect and sweet and sour dishes superb. Hot or iced tea and fortune cookies add to the meal, where you can test your good fortunes downstairs at the slots. Don't miss the 50-cent margaritas.

Dining in Black Hawk, Colorado FITZGERALDS CASINO has one of the most creative food and beverage managers in the state. For quality and consistency the Shamrock Cafe can't be beat. From succulent shrimp to sizzling steaks, every huge dish is prepared with attention, Try Fitzgeralds' famous corned beef, shepherd's pie, pasta and seafood, and leave room for some sinfully - sensational desserts like suicide chocolate cake or cheesecake. There are daily specials and feasts on the holidays. Prices are moderate, service is impeccable and servings enormous. The Shamrock Cafe offers a warm ambience and delightful views of Black Hawk's Main Street..

THE GILPIN HOTEL CASINO is the perfect place for couples to eat, after all the restaurants are named after their famous lovers, Lucille Malone and her Jonathan. At Lucille's enjoy a monstrous breakfast buffet ($1.99), Monday-Saturday from 8-10:30 a.m. and Sunday brunch from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for $4.95. You must be a Gilpin Slot Club member to get these unbeatable prices, but why not-it's free! Jonathan's offers a selection of soups, salads, sandwiches, steaks and seafood, all reasonably priced with club membership. For dinner enjoy extraordinary dining with the likes of lobster, prime rib and the humongous 20-ounce t-bone.


Dining in Black Hawk THE ISLE OF CAPRI HOTEL & CASINO has it all! With three dining choices and a full-service hotel you never have to leave. Need a quick break from the casino action, then try Tradewinds Grill for juicy burgers sandwiches, fries and ice cream. If you're really hungry Calypso's offers up a buffet made in paradise, from peel-n-eat shrimp to crab legs, chicken to pasta, seafood to roast beef, this buffet dining can't be topped, for one low price at lunch and dinner. And for something truly extraordinary dine at Farradday's named after the fictitious world traveler. Although Farradday's prices are higher, the quality rivals the finest dining in all Denver. Salads, signature side dishes, stupendous certified Angus beef and fresh seafood make up dining options. You'll want to visit often and try everything!

JAZZ ALLEY has some great Chinese food on the third floors at very reasonable prices (all under $6). You'll love the creativity in these authentic dishes. For lighter fare, gamblers can get cold sandwiches, hot dogs and ice cream at the deli on the second floor.


THE LODGE CASINO AT BLACK HAWK treats guests to three dining options catch a quick snack like a delicious sandwich from Jake's Deli near the north entrance of the casino or head upstairs and get ready to eat! The Seasons Buffet has been consistently named the best buffet offering in Black Hawk. You'll choose from a daily changing variety of delectable dishes from main entrees to side dishes and desserts. Seafood and roast beef along with holiday favorites like ham and turkey make up the staples at this giant buffet, all for one low price at lunch and dinner. For that special dining experience the White Buffalo is truly out of the ordinary. Prices are higher, but the quality is superb. Enjoy steaks, seafood and creative dishes you'd expect from a five-star restaurant. Appetizers are wonderful too!

MARDI GRAS CASINO knows what you're hungry for-delicious food at great prices. The Mardi Gras' Cafe Orleans allows you to dine buffet style or from menu items, all are scrumptious and the buffet price can't be beat. Enjoy carved beef, peel-n-eat shrimp and much, much more from salads to creamy potatoes and sinful desserts. Mardi Gras' Fat Tuesday Deli has the sandwich you want and will create it in front of your eyes. It's lighter fare that's satisfying.

RED DOLLY'S Steakhouse serves up some juicy burgers, prime rib and steak at prices that will make you think it's a different decade. All meals are complete with spuds and more. The Steakhouse is located upstairs in an area that takes you away from the noise to enjoy your delicious meal.

RICHMAN'S restaurant has a limited menu of sandwiches and pizza, but it's hearty enough to keep you going during your gaming day. Order pizza by the piece or the whole thing and wash it down with a few brewskies. Moderately priced.

THE RIVIERA introduced the World's Fare Buffet to the rave of the gambling public. This gigantic buffet, on the third floor offers dishes from around the world at a variety of hot and cold stations. From Asian to Mexican, you'll find the world's most delectable food all for one low price. There are a variety of salads from fresh green to three-bean and side dishes galore. The daily changing entrees can be exotic or traditional, every one delicious. Top it all off with a luscious dessert. For the best buffet prices pick up your free Riviera Slot Club card.

SILVER HAWK CASINO serves up some mighty fine pizza. Build your own from a choice of 14 delectable toppings and sit down in the delightful little restaurant and enjoy your pizza with some suds or soft drinks. Prices are reasonable and the service is great.

THE WILD CARD SALOON heaps on the helpings with great sandwiches and daily specials for the hungry gambler. Low prices and courteous service are standouts at Ed and Shirley's. The Royal Flush is open limited hours, but its a great place to hold off the hunger pangs on a full day of gambling fun.
