COLORADO CENTRAL STATION CASINO has two restaurants to choose from , the Whistle Stop and the Firebox Grille, for superb fine dining. RICHMAN'S restaurant has a limited menu of sandwiches and pizza, but it's hearty enough to keep you going during your gaming day. Order pizza by the piece or the whole thing and wash it down with a few brewskies. Moderately priced.

THE RIVIERA introduced the World's Fare Buffet to the rave of the gambling public. This gigantic buffet, on the third floor offers dishes from around the world at a variety of hot and cold stations. From Asian to Mexican, you'll find the world's most delectable food all for one low price. There are a variety of salads from fresh green to three-bean and side dishes galore. The daily changing entrees can be exotic or traditional, every one delicious. Top it all off with a luscious dessert. For the best buffet prices pick up your free Riviera Slot Club card.

SILVER HAWK CASINO serves up some mighty fine pizza. Build your own from a choice of 14 delectable toppings and sit down in the delightful little restaurant and enjoy your pizza with some suds or soft drinks. Prices are reasonable and the service is great.

BRONCO BILLY'S Home Cafe is an exceptional standard serving up delicious American cuisine. From breakfasts to steak dinners, deals are plentiful, especially with MVP membership. Get there early and enjoy 49-cent breakfasts like biscuits and gravy, eggs and pancakes, served from 8-11 p.m. Return for the best deal in Cripple Creek after 2 p.m., a juicy 16-ounce t-bone dinner for just $6.95. You can't go wrong at the Home Cafe.

BUFFALO BILLY'S Steakhouse has consistently been voted the best place to eat in Cripple Creek since it opened a few years ago. Enjoy smoke-free dining in a hunting lodge atmosphere, where steaks and seafood reign. The accompaniments aren't too shabby either. Reservations are recommended at this popular eatery. The restaurant is open from 4-10 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays (when half price dining may be available for slot club members) and from 2-10 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Simply the best!

THE DOUBLE EAGLE HOTEL & CASINO will never leave you wanting when it comes to dining. For delicious sandwiches and more try the Jackpot Deli on the main gaming floor and grab a seat at the bar and soak up the atmosphere. For sit-down dining Lombard's can't be beat. This luxurious restaurant gives you a choice of buffet or off-the-menu dining. The buffet is the best deal and is sometimes themed with regional and holiday foods. GOLD RUSH HOTEL & CASINO and GOLD DIGGERS are serviced by the Grapevine Restaurant featuring incredible bargains for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Enjoy a 49-cent breakfast of pancakes, eggs, French toast or a half order of biscuits and gravy, along with other breakfast specialties at a slightly higher price. Lunch and dinner feature burgers, chicken, fish and steaks, including the special 7-ounce sirloin steak for just $3.99. There are dinner specials Friday-Sunday, starting at 11 a.m.

THE IMPERIAL HOTEL CASINO offers two dining venues a light fare deli and Stratton's Grill buffet serving up delicacies like crab legs, juicy prime rib, a variety of salads and sides at one low price per person. You'll never leave hungry after enjoying the quality offerings at Stratton's Grill. There's an elegant ambience and superb service.

JOHNNY NOLAN'S is the perfect stop on a busy day in Cripple Creek enjoy variety of delicious Subway sandwiches or maybe some cold, refreshing ice cream. Sandwiches and daily specials, at reasonable prices are offered at Goldie's Restaurant upstairs.

J. P. McGILL'S, part of Cripple Creek's triple play action with the Brass Ass and the Midnight Rose serves up some tasty snack type offerings including burgers and sandwiches. The BLT is exceptional. You can also get a great breakfast deal for as low as 49 cents.

MIDNIGHT ROSE has a second-floor buffet that changes daily. Get truly delightful offerings for one low price. Card players also will find some table side service so they can keep playing their favorite games. The Down Under Steakhouse on the lower level of the casino features Australian filet, seafood and prime rib. Prices are moderate and you'll never forget the meals, mate! The Down Under is open for lunch and dinner.

PALACE HOTEL & CASINO has outdone itself with its deli offerings. The sandwich of your dreams awaits you here. With over 40 combinations and prices that will make you blush ($5.50 and under), the Palace Deli can make your creation to eat there or take on the go. Pile it on with corned beef, salami, roast beef and pastrami, turkey or tuna, ham or meat loaf. Don't forget the cheese and cheese fries. The Palace Deli also had jumbo burgers and a variety of appetizers from egg rolls to wings.

SILVER MINE COFFEEHOUSE serves up great brew and an engaging atmosphere often filled with the tunes from an acoustic guitar. Try their famous Italian press-grilled sandwiches at moderate prices. A charming break from the casino action.

UNCLE SAM'S serves up sandwiches like chicken salad and snacks. For heartier fare try their sister property, the Gold Rush 's Grapevine Restaurant down the street.

VIRGIN MULE has snacks and specialties. The Mule keeps you gambling and wastes little time with elaborate meals.

WOMACK'S has a gold mine with their restaurant, the Gold Mine. The upstairs restaurant can be reached by elevator and serves up some terrific meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For breakfast sit down to some hearty steak and eggs, chicken-fried steak, or eggs and ham or sausage, or add some zest to your morning with a spicy breakfast burrito. For lunch choose from south-of-the-border specialties, soups, salads and sandwiches. Dinner diners will love the chicken piccata, Italian shrimp scampi and Russian shrimp and scallops. Other entrees include surf and turf combinations, New York steak, baby back ribs, chicken-fried steak and more. Leave room for some delightfully decadent desserts. If you're in town on Saturdays, stop by the Gold Mine for the prime rib buffet from 5-11 p.m.

OTHER GRUB

ANNIE OAKLEY'S (Central City), K & J'S COUNTRY MARKET (Cripple Creek) and the WILD CARD'S GROCERY (Black Hawk) all offer makings for your own meal.
